The scope of marketing


Scopes are the opportunity where marketing strategy can be used. There are a lot of scope in the field of marketing which are given below,

Goods:
The main element of production is goods. The tangible things which have the ability to fulfill a human needs is called goods. Goods may be physical produces, consumer products, consumer durables etc. According to Stanton, Etzel and Walker “Goods is a set of tangible physical attributes assembled in an identifiable form to provide want satisfaction to customers.”

Service: 
Service is any intangible activity or benefit which can be present at market for sell but doesn’t create single ownership. Service may be Transport, repair and maintenance, legal, financial, consultancy, hotel, specialized skill, professionals etc.
According to Philip Kotler Service is any activity or benefit that one party can offer to another party that is essentially intangible and does not result in the ownership of anyone.

Experience:
For achieving a specific objective, combination of product and service can be used for providing the pure knowledge about company or firm is called experience. Experiences may be Theaters, opera, Disney-world, trekking, mountaineering, ocean cruise, cinema, music, concerts etc.

Events:
Increasing the customer attraction, marketer play different strategy at different time event is one of them. According to Philip Kotler events are occurrences designed to communicate particular messages to target audiences. Examples: Trade show sports, world cup, vintage car rally, fashion shows, articles performance, event management etc.

Person: 
Philip Kotler and Gray Armstrong says that “Person marketing consists of activates undertaken to create maintain or change attitude or behavior toward particular people.” Such as celebrity persons, film star, politician, artists, performers, advertisers, and CEO of companies etc.

Places:
For increasing a specific place`s sales promotion, acceptability, sales ability performing one kinds of marketing activities is called place marketing. Such as cities, stats, countries for tourism, leisure and place for industrialization etc.

Properties:
Ownership of tangible properties like real estate, house, apartment, farm house, precocious metals and intangible properties like financial portfolio of various securities, stocks, hands.

Organization:
Creating summit concept and corporate image about organization in consumers mind, performing some special marketing activities, those activities is called organizational marketing. For building up identity, image, reputation, and brand value of mind of customer, “we doesn`t smock” the Tobacco`s advertising, “Your home in the sky” the Biman Bangladesh airline`s advertising.

Information:
For profit achieving data collection, analysis, distribution and similar types of related activities is called information marketing. It can be produced packaged and marketed as a product text books encyclopedias, magazines and journals on literature, available thru internet.

Idea:
Idea can be marketed. Normally every marketer make idea for superior marketing. According to Houston, Bovee and Thill “Idea concepts philosophies or images that can be exchanged in the marketplace.” Like business opportunity, advertising marketing idea etc.
